RF Foreign Ministry calls for Denmark to suppress the activity of Chechen militants supporters

Representative of RF Foreign Ministry called for politicians and officials of Denmark to take steps for suppression the acts, maintaining Chechen separatists, in the territory of Denmark. In his statement a representative of Foreign Ministry expresses hope that Denmark will “acknowledge the danger of flirting with the forces of the international terrorism”. The statement was made public in connection with the action, maintaining Chechen terrorists, which was undertaken in front of the building of Russian embassy in Copenhagen. It is noted in the document that this “anti-Russian action was sanctioned by local authorities. Parliament deputies and public figures of Denmark were among its arrangers ”, “Interfax” reports. RF Foreign Ministry representative also reminds that in January 2000 an extremist attacked the office of Russian diplomatic mission. He hurled Molotov cocktail to the territory of the embassy. One of Russian diplomats was wounded as a result. In this connection the hope that Danish authorities “will take steps to prevent such incidents in the future” is expressed in the statement.
