The putting to sea of ships assigned to a Special Naval Expedition to salvage fragments of the first compartment of the Kursk nuclear submarine, which wrecked in August 2000 in the Barents Sea, has been repeatedly postponed because of adverse weather conditions. This information has been disclosed by the press service of the Russian Northern Fleet. Weather conditions at the operation site have not got better during the week-end. Strong waves and winds make the operation impossible, press service officials stressed. According to RIA Novosti's sources, hydro-meteorological service of the Northern Fleet forecasts that the weather will not get better within the next few days.
