US Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld asked Congress on Wednesday to vote in favour of na attack on Iraq. His speech was interrupted by hecklers who shouted “Inspections, not war”.

True to form, Donald Rumsfeld stated that if Congress delayed in its vote, the USA could give the message that it was “unprepared” to take a position. He asked Congress to vote “before the UN Security Council votes”.

Meanwhile George Bush stated that he is going to prepare a resolution by the weekend which will allow the USA to attack Iraq, forecasting that Congress will approve the law at the beginning of October.

Baghdad’s offer to unconditionally allow the UN weapons inspectors to return is currently being studied by the United Nations Organisation. However, the signs are clear that the US administration holds no respect for this organisation, does not respect any international forum of law and intends to attack Baghdad and install a puppet regime whether the international community is in favour or not.
