Chechen President Kadyrov announces destruction of chief ISIS terrorist

Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov announced the elimination of Tarkhan Batarashvili, aka Omar Al-Shishani. The head of the Chechen republic posted the news on his Instagram account.

"Let it be so to all who would think to threaten Russia and the Chechen people," Kadyrov wrote underneath the photo of the killed terrorist.

Batarashvili was seen in several videos, in which a man, introducing himself the commander of a large group of fighters in Syria, was voicing threats against Russia. He threatened to arrive with his fighter to the Caucasus and launch military operations against Russia. In response, Kadyrov said that Al-Shishani would be eliminated right on the site where he utters his threats," Vesti FM radio said.

Omar Al-Shishani (Tarkhan Batarashvili) had been the leader of a terrorist group of Al-Qaeda (The Islamic State of Iraq and the Sham) since the summer of 2013. In the USA, Batarashvili was put on the list of highly dangerous international terrorists.
