Attendance of Nizhny Novgorod portal of public services grows by 20 percent

 

The average attendance of the Internet portal of state and municipal services of the Nizhny Novgorod Region has grown by 20 percent, the Minister of Information Technology, Communications and Media of the region, Sergei Kuchin said.  

"As part of the development of the Internet portal of state and municipal services, the portal contains information on the procedure to receive 208 public, 1,510 municipal and 744 federal services. The option to submit an electronic application is provided for 147 services. The average attendance of the portal makes up 115,000 people, which shows the growth of 20 percent in comparison with 2013," said Sergey Kuchin. "In 2015, we are planning to create versions of the portal for visually impaired individuals. In addition, the user interface of the website has been optimized," the official added. 

In 2014, the issuance of universal electronic cards continued. In the region, there are 18 offices that accept applications for UEC. Last year, eight of such offices were opened additionally. To enhance people's computer literacy, a special video course was developed titled "Electronic Citizen of the Nizhny Novgorod Region." The video course was developed for hearing-impaired individuals. The videos have subtitles. The video course is can be found in all libraries. In 2014, as many as 8,658 people used it for their education.
