According to sources in Moscow, the loathed son of Slobodan Milosevic is today seeking exile in China. Marko Milosevic, 26, fled to Russia under the false name of Jovanovic with his wife and son on Saturday, hours after his father resigned from the Yugoslav presidency. But the former playboy faced humiliation at Moscow airport where he was initially refused entry because he did not have a valid visa. His uncle, Borislav, who remains the Yugoslav ambassador to Russia, appears to have brokered a deal allowing him a temporary stay in Moscow pending a flight to Beijing. The Beta news agency in Belgrade said: "He is not planning to stay in Moscow. He will fly to Beijing with the Yugoslav Airlines flight that lands in Moscow for refuelling." However, officials in Moscow today denied he could fly to China with Yugoslav Airlines. The Russian foreign ministry has claimed it has "no information" on Marko's arrival in Moscow, and the Yugoslav embassy dismissed the reports as "rumours". There was no immediate comment from China today on whether it was offering Marko a bolt hole. “This is London” reports.
