All-season ski resort to be built in Nizhny Novgorod

The government of Nizhny Novgorod region approved the project of the multifunctional complex called "Blagoveshchensk Sloboda." The project stipulates the construction of the following complexes: a hotel complex,  recreational and entertainment center, fitness club, medical center, cultural center, kids club, all-season ski resort with an area of ​​mountain skiing, a training area, service center, tube track, snowboard park, all-season children's village and town made of rope.

According to the Ministry of Investment Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod region, the "Blagoveshchensk Sloboda," which can be translated as "Annunciation Settlement," will be erected within the boundaries of streets Chernigovskaya, Garshina, Melnichny Side Street and the Kazan Square in the Nizhny Novgorod district. The project has already received an approval from the Town Planning Board of the Nizhny Novgorod region and the Architectural Board for the department of urban development in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

The total square of the plot of ​​land for the project is 10.5 hectares. The square of ​​the first phase of construction is 1.3 hectares. Some buildings situated there need restoration.

The complex will be built on the bank of the Oka River. The project also stipulates the construction of the aquatic stadium for wakeboarding and all-season windsurfing. A water park with water attractions is also stipulated in the project.

The estimated cost of the project - four billion rubles.

To date, there is one investor - NKHP-Development Company, which passes 1.3 hectares of land with buildings and infrastructure for the construction of the first stage of the complex, Time-N reports.
