Earthquakes on Sakhalin and Kuril Islands: no damage and victims

Earthquakes measuring 3-3.5 on the Richter were registered on Sunday evening on the Sakhalin and Kuril Islands but no damages and victims have been reported.

As the Far Eastern emergencies regional centre reported on Monday, the epicentre of the earthquake on the Sakhalin Island was in the area of the township of Uglezavodsk at the depth of ten kilometres.

On the Kuril islands, the earth tremors were registered at the depth of 170 kilometres.
