Rabbani Finds Profound Understanding Of Afghan Crisis In Abu-Dhabi

Barhanuddin Rabbani, President of the Islamic State of Afghanistan, said that in the United Arab Emirates he had found profound understanding of the Afghan crisis and of the need to establish peace and stability in the country and to create conditions for its restoration. According to the Kuwaiti news agency KUNA, Rabbani said this Monday, following talks last night with the Emirates' crown prince and Defence Minister Sheikh Muhammad al-Maktum. Sheikh Muhammad called on all Afghan forces to assume responsibility for the Afghan people and on the world community to help Afghanistan's restoration and ease the plight of its people, KUNA said.
