The rally that started yesterday in front of the building of Poroshenko's administration in Kiev continued today. It appears the protesters are not going to leave. On August 28, several hundreds of people, picketing in front of the building of the General Staff, demanded the resignation of Defense Minister Valery Geletey. The protesters blocked one of the most important avenues of Kiev - Vozdukhoflotsky Avenue.

The activists demand the authorities should send more troops to Ilovaisk and equip volunteer battalions with military hardware. According to podrobnosti.ua, there were about a thousand people at the meeting in the morning, and people continued to arrive.

At the meeting, one of the security officers of "Krivoy Rog" battalion said that the troops had no weapons.

Soon afterwards, the crowd began to chant other slogans. The activists demanded the impeachment of President Poroshenko. Relatives of Ukrainian military men, who were sent to the south-east of the country, also take part in the meeting. According to RT, there were calls to start Maidan-3.

The protesters, with women among them, violently responded to the words of a representative of the General Staff, who said that military hardware had already left to the front. A brawl started at the gate. Some of the women started to attack officers from the General Staff screaming: "Go to the front! Fat Asses! My son is there in the battalion!"

The protesters started to form a column to move to the administration of President Poroshenko.
