10 terrorists killed in the course of special operation in Chechnya
10 terrorists were killed in the course of the operation on elimination of terrorist formation in Chechen-Aul village. This was disclosed on Wednesday by the regional operative headquarters. The operation lasted more than two weeks.
After special operations within the last month in villages Mesker-Yurt, Chechen-Aul and Avtura, 45 members of terrorist formations were eliminated. A lot of weapons and explosives have been confiscated. The set tasks have been fully fulfilled, the headquarters reported.
The reason for the full-scale operations was a recent escalation of crime in the village Mesker-Yurt. According to the law enforcement bodies, within the recent months a number of murders, robberies and other crimes have been committed.
