A special plane of the Russian EMERCOM landed in Moscow bringing back home the Russian citizens, who wished to leave Syria. A number of citizens of the CIS were also on board the plane, the press-service of the Emergencies Ministry said.

The plane landed on Wednesday night at Domodedovo Airport. A special station was arranged at the airport to provide medical and psychological help to the evacuees.

The plane brought the total of 99 people - citizens of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

A transport plane of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, IL-76, which delivered 40 tons of humanitarian aid to Syria, has returned to Russia safely as well.
