Two militants killed in Chechnya
When an attempt was made to detain militants, two were killed.
As the regional operational headquarters for controlling the anti-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus reported, the skirmish took place in the morning the day before.
An investigating police group and the special task force of the Interior Troops were conducting an operation for detaining participants in illegal armed units. When the bandits understood that they had been spotted they opened fire at the law enforcers who opened return fire and killed them.
From the place of the incident the policemen withdrew two Kalashnikov sub-machine guns, a TT pistol, more than a hundred cartridges and one grenade.
