French Premier Sends To Russian Counterpart Condolences On Plane Crash
Late Friday, Prime Minister Lionel Jospin of France sent to his Russian counterpart, Mikhail Kasyanov, a letter of condolences on the crash of a Russian passenger jetliner en route from Tel Aviv to Novosibirsk. Jospin's message reads, in part: "At these moments of pain and mourning, I express to you my most sincere condolences on behalf of France's government and people." The French Premier also sent his condolences to the families and friends of the crash victims.
