I don't know who "sold" you the incident between Spanish police and Portuguese demonstrators. But the last paragraph of your text it's not correct.

The incident reported "Several policemen entered the buses and confiscated rolls of film (...)", happened not with the Bloco de Esquerda, but with the buses rented by PCP and JCP members. Bloco de Esquerda, has the very ugly habit of "stealing" banners, fights, and so on from others. That's their way of getting more protagonism...It's not a pretty way to be in politics, but it's their way...
