List of 500 world's most expensive brands unveiled

The list of 500 world's most expensive brands has been unveiled. The first place on the list was taken by Apple - the corporation was evaluated at 87.3 billion dollars. The list continues with Samsung, Google, Microsoft, Wal-Mart Stores, IBM, General Electric, Amazon online store, Coca-Cola and American telecommunications giant Verizon.

As for Russian brands, the list contains Sberbank on the 63^rd position Gazprom on the 122^nd place, Lukoil - on the 218^th, Beeline on the 232^nd, Rosneft -  on the 256^th, Magnit food supermarkets - the 346^th, MTS - on the 361^st and Megafon - on the 433rd.

The annual list is made by Canadian consulting firm Brand Finance Canada. Previously, the company made the list of top-ranking banks in the world. The most expensive bank in the world was the U.S.-based Wells Fargo - $26 billion. Russia's Sberbank climbed four steps up during the year and took 13th place.
