Comandante in China

Leader of the Island of Freedom is visiting China for the first time in the past seven years, that is why he says he can hardly recognize the country.

At that, as Fidel Castro said in private conversations, he didn’t ruled out that in the nearest future the Cuban people will have an opportunity to think about further development of the country. Fidel Castro was evidently so much impressed by changes in China that he even missed the annual cigar festival in Cuba.

The comandante himself looked not so much bellicose at formal receptions. He is wearing a civil suit instead of a dark olive army-type jacket, and now Castro prefers comfortable running shoes to formal shoes. It is expected that Fidel Castro will leave Beijing for Japan.
