FHM's sexiest girl donates her prize to Beslan victims

FHM's High Street Honey donated 10,000 pounds sterling to 330 victims of the hostage crisis in Beslan

Hayley  ParsonsHayley Parsons, 20, won the beauty contest High Street Honey organized by FHM magazine last week. Parsons won 10,000 pounds and the opportunity to grace the cover of the world-known men's magazine.

She said of her gesture to the 330 victims of the horrible terrorist attack in Beslan: "I was so moved, it just seems right."

This year the student of a medical school, Hayley Parsons, from the town of Chandlers Ford, was named FHM's High Street Honey. About 6,000 participants joined the contest. The prize-giving ceremony took place at Funky Buddha nightclub in London. "I didn't expect to win. It was a great surprise for me. Every girl dreams to appear on the cover of FHM," said FHM's High Street Honey. Natalie Paik, who won the contest last year and became one of the most popular British models, handed over her crown to the new winner, Newsru reports.

It is not the first case when celebrities donate their money to those in need. For Hayley Parsons, FHMexample, Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, a goodwill ambassador for the U.N.'s refugee agency, was moved with the story told by a group of 500 orphan girls affected by the war between Sri Lanka's government and the Liberation Tigers of Tamileelam. The actress said that she would donate $10,000 to help a children's hospital in northern Sri Lanka. The 27-year-old actress said she was making the donation to help rebuild the pediatric ward at a hospital in Jaffna, an area that was the center of the 20-year-old civil war.
