Russian diplomats arrange fierce fight on board passenger plane

Russian diplomats put up a fight flying from Egypt to Yemen. One of the fighters was injured in the scuffle. The crew was forced to return the plane back to the Egyptian capital, infox.ru reports.

The officials were flying a Yemenia Airlines jetliner from Cairo to Yemen’s capital Sana’a. Yemeni news agency Saba said that a Russian diplomat and his colleague, an official of a lower rank, picked a quarrel with each other. The incident took place about 30 minutes after the plane took off. The two men began to yell at each other. Passengers tried to calm them down, but the diplomats set upon each other with blows.

The plane commander decided to return to Cairo after one of the diplomats was injured in the fight.

The scuffle took place on March 5. The names of the two diplomats have not been exposed.
