When his wife died, the father remained alone with two little babies. The elder daughter Ninansala, who was just one year old, was so used to her mother’s milk that she refused to eat any other food.

The caring father saw the sufferings of his daughter and wanted to help her very much. He decided to make a desperate attempt: he tried to breast-feed the little girl. The man was surprised when the baby accepted his breast, but what was even more surprising, there was milk in his breast!

Doctors from a local hospital showed great interest in the unusual male breast-feeding and decided to examine the widower. The doctors say that men with a higher prolactin level (this hormone is in charge of breast development and milk production in a female organism) sometimes actually can produce milk and breast-feed their babies.
